Who knows what great ideas you will bring to the Clay County Museum?

High School Students:
Not sure what you want to do yet? That’s ok! If you have an interest in history, explore that interest with us! We all types of projects to keep you busy and learning. If this interests you, set up a meeting with us.

College Students:
If you are a History major with museum work interests, we might be the Museum for you.  We would prefer that you live near the Liberty, Missouri vicinity so you don’t have a long commute. 

We can be Flexible if You Can Be.  Our artifacts range from the 1790s to the 1970s of Clay County.

How to get started?

1. Talk to your Advisor/Counselor at your School about their Internship programs.

2. Contact our Curator to set up a meeting… See Contacts at the bottom of any page on our website.

3. Get the proper paperwork / forms from Your School for the internship.  Verify that what our internship offers will count for your credits.
